VITEEE 2019 – Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Test Content
Vellore Institute of Technology University conducts Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) for the candidates to offer admissions in B.Tech programmes available at its Vellore and Chennai campuses.
VITE Entrance Exam is a computer based test or exam (CBT) and its language of instruction is given in English only. The duration of this entrance exam is two and a half hours (2.5 hrs). Apart from exam centres in India, VITE Entrance Exam is also held at two international test centres which are Dubai and Kuwait.
VITEEE 2018 was conducted from April 4th - 15th 2018.
From 2018, the university will also offer admissions to B.Des (Industrial Design) through VITEEE. The number of seats and the mode of selection will be purely at the discretion of the Management.
VIT University will start its online registration for filling application form. By this, the candidates will have an idea of how the paper will be.
Online Application Process

To begin with, candidates need to enter all the required and relevant details.

Soon after this, candidates will receive a password on their registered mobile no. and email id.

All communication regarding the exam will be sent to the aspirant’s registered email id and mobile number. Thus, any request for change of Mobile Number / e-mail Id / Correspondence address will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Now, login to 'Registered users' with your email id and password that you have received from the University.

At this state, enter all the relevant details carefully before submitting VITEEE 2018 application form.

After this, an application number will be generated. Candidates will have to refer to this application number for all their future correspondences.

The application fee of Rs.1150/- (inclusive of GST) - for general candidates needs to be paid online via Netbanking / Credit / Debit card. NRI students need to pay 50 USD through online mode using credit card.

Photograph : The size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 4.5 CM.

Signature : The size of the image of signature should be between 10 KB and 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 1.5 CM.

Selfies are not allowed.

At the time of transaction, if the amount is debited please do not try new application. Candidates are requested to wait for atleast 24 hours and then try for payment once again from the same registered email id.

In case if the amount is not debited, you can try the payment again.
Offline Application Process
Offline application forms will be available in the selected post offices and VIT Campuses.The cost of offline Application Forms are Rs.1200/- (inclusive of GST).
VITEEE Exam Pattern
VITEEE 2018 is a computer based test (CBT) which is held in different slots. Candidates need to book their exam slot online on the official website for VITEEE examination.
The duration of VITEEE 2018 is 2 hours and 30 minutes. This entrance exam consists of objective type multiple choice questions.
VITEEE exam sections: The test paper is divided into four sections wherein:
Part-I contains questions from - Physics
Part-II comprises questions from - Chemistry
Part-III has questions either from - Mathematics or Biology depending on the course for which the candidate has applied for.
Part IV comprises questions from - English. English is added new to the syllabus of VITEEE.

VITEEE Syllabus
The Syllabus of VITEEE 2018 consists of those subjects and topics which are likely to be included as questions in the entrance examination. By checking the VITEEE 2018 syllabus, the candidates will be able to know what is to be studied. Relevant topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology has to be studied as the questions for the exam will be created from those subjects. If the candidates are well aware about the syllabus, then they can schedule their preparation process accordingly.
