JEE Main 2020 Admission Information


JEE Main is a national level entrance test Organised by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission into undergraduate engineering programs in the IITs, NITs and other centrally funded Technical Institutes. JEE Main is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced aspirants who wish to pursue their technology degree program at the IITs. The official notification for JEE Main 2020 is published by NTA. Nonetheless, in the following article, we take a peek at the several aspects of the exam for the benefit of applicants intending to write JEE Main at 2020. Please note that all schedule and data are based on past records and are tentative in nature.
JEE Main 2020 will be conducted both online as well as offline modes. There would be two objective-type papers covering Intermediate level PCM syllabus. Of the 2 newspapers, Paper 1 is for B.E./B. Tech aspirants, Paper 2 is for candidates choosing for B. Arch program and Paper 3 if for B.Planning program.
The procedure of registering for JEE Main, issuance of Admit Card into the Publishing of Results will be in the online mode through the official website. Please note that applicants' Aadhar Card is mandatory for JEE Main Registration.
Latest Update: NTA has released the JEE Main 2020 Application Form from 07 February 2020.
JEE Main 2020 Application Form
  • JEE Main 2020 Application procedure has been started from 03 September 2019. The application form can be filled/submitted at the official website.
  • Except for candidates belonging to J&K, Assam, and Meghalaya, it is compulsory for the rest of the candidates to register with their Aadhar Number (Aadhar Enrolment Number for candidates whose Aadhar Card has been applied for but not issued yet).
  • J&K, Assam and Meghalaya candidates can enrol with a valid passport number, lender a/c amount, ration card number or such an ID proof issued by the authorities.
  • It's compulsory for applicants to have a valid personal email ID and an energetic mobile amount for JEE Main Registration. Candidates are advised to retain their registered email ID and mobile phone number till the JEE Main and subsequent procedures till admission are as significant information may be shared via email or SMS by the exam conducting authority.
  • Candidates need to ensure that all details entered on the JEE Main Application Form are right as NTA offers very limited scope to create any correction/modification from the form after entry. There is usually a brief window for internet correction or modification with a valid reason for specific segments from the form. Please note that no change will be accepted via fax/application including email etc..
  • The program fee for JEE Main could be paid online (debit/credit cards) as well as offline (e-challan deposited together with the requisite amount of cash at Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank). Additional bank fees as important will be to be borne by the candidates.
  • Please note that in the event the payment process is not complete, the acknowledgement slip will not be generated upon submission of JEE Main Application Form. The payment status may be assessed on the official website.
JEE Main Admit Card
JEE Main 2020 Admit Card Will be uploaded on the official website for all the candidates that have submitted the online application complete in all respect within the deadline. Nominees will have to download, print and save the document from the site. Please be aware that it is very important that candidates take their Admit Card in person on the day of their exam or they won't be permitted to write the exam.
Candidates are advised to check the Admit Card meticulously for the Details like Name, Paper, Date of Birth, Gender, Test Centre Name, City, State Code of Eligibility and Category. Any discrepancy must be immediately reported to JEE Main Secretariat/CBSE for necessary actions.
JEE Main Result
The result for JEE Main 2020 will be released on the official website. Lead for paper 1 And two will be declared separately along with India Ranking (AIR) and Category Ranking. The scorecard Will Need to be downloaded on the website. Please note that the scorecards Won't be discharged to Candidates by NTA. Admissions to the NITs, IIITs, CFTIs etc. will probably be Dependent on the AIR.

  3. JEE Main 2021 Application Form will be made available via online mode from September 2020. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a national level entrance exam conducted every year for admission into B.Tech, B.E, B.Arch, B.Plan programmes. JEE Main examination is conducted in two sessions – January & April session respectively.
