Selection procedure for SRM University SRM JEE 2018
SRM
University JEE- Joint Entrance Exam is an exam conducted by the
university to check the eligibility of the candidates and give
admission to the deserving candidates under various Under Graduate
(SRM JEE UG) and Post Graduate (SRM JEE 2018 PG) courses in Engineering
such as B. Tech, M. Tech, B.arch and MBA in various specializations.
It is a national level entrance examination.

Candidates
can fill in the Application Form by logging into main website.
Only online forms will be accepted by the university. Applications
and payment made by any other method will not be entertained. The
SRM University follows two modes of payment:

Selection
Procedure
Selection
to the various courses provided by the University will be based on
counseling. Depending upon the number of vacancies in the courses,
number of counseling will be done.
Candidates
are allowed to choose the specialization of their choice if:

He/she has fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria of the course applied for.

He/she meets the cut-off of the preferred subject.
Specialization
will be allotted to the candidate only if there will be seats
available in the particular course.
The
University provides, 2 retakes apart from the original attempt, for
the SRM JEE UG test if the candidate wants to improve his/her scores
in order to take admission in his/her desired specialization, in case
the candidate falls short of the cut-off marks. In this case, the
best score out of the three will be considered to award the
specialization.
The
fees including the tuition fees and other applicable fees should be
deposited at the time of counseling.
After
the successful completion of the above mentioned formalities, a PAL-
Provisional Allotment Letter will be awarded to the candidate,
confirming the admission of the candidate.
