B.Tech Admission 2018
Candidates can apply for admission in B.Tech through the JEE Main examination. Candidates should examine their eligibility before applying. The eligibility criteria for JEE Main exam is cite below:
  • Candidates should have passed or appearing in the 10+2 or equivalent examination with PCM subjects.
  • Diploma holders are eligible to apply.
  • Students must have cleared the 12th examinations from the year 2016 and 2017.
  • The date of arrival must fall on or after 1st October 1993 for general candidates and 1st October 1988 for reserved categories.
Selection Procedure
For Admission in B.Tech course, applicants can apply through entrance exam or through the merit listing of the qualifying examination. Separate merit list or cut-off will be published by various colleges for providing admission. On the grounds of merit, students can look for the counselling fee. During counselling, applicants need to pay the counselling fee and fill their preferences. On the basis of filled choices, rank & seat availability, seats will be allotted to candidates. For admission in NIT, candidates need to participate in the JoSAA counselling.
